Directions from Nice Airport
From the airport exit take the A8 motorway in the direction Cannes/Aix-en-Provence. Exit the A8 at junction 36 (Draguignan/St. Tropez) then take the N555 towards Draguignan and Trans-en-Provence. In Draguignan follow signs towards the hospital (Centre Hospitalier), Ampus, Chateaudouble and Montferrat - D955. About 2km after the hospital take the left turn onto the D49 towards Ampus and Bauduen. Stay on the D49 all the way to Bauduen, this is a beautiful, scenic mountain road.
Directions from Marseille Airport
Take the exit road from the airport and follow signs for Vitrolles and Aix TGV, this is on the D9. Stay on this road into Aix-en-Provence and then follow the blue motorway signs for Nice. Take the A8 motorway, direction Nice, until junction 35 Brignoles/Le Val. Follow the signs for Le Val on the D554 then D562 and D22, passing by Le Val, Montfort-s-Argens and through Cotignac. Stay on the D22, through Sillans-la-Cascade and into Aups. Pass through Aups and follow the signs for Moustiers/Les Salles on the D957. After 12km take the road signposted to Bauduen on the left (the D49) down into the village.
TGV to Avignon
As an alternative to flying, why not take one of France's high speed TGV trains? Connections throughout
Europe to Paris or Lille and then to Avignon or Aix-en-Provence or Marseille. Then hire a car and and follow signs for the A7 motorway, southbound towards Marseille. When the motorway forks, follow signs to Aix-en-Provence and Nice, this is the A8 motorway. After Aix follow the instructions above as for Marseille Airport.
